Hobsons Bay City Council is encouraging residents to Detox your Home a safe, free and easy-to-use service to dispose of common, highly toxic household chemicals without harming your health or the environment.
The free mobile collection service, provided in partnership with Sustainability
Victoria, is coming to Altona on Saturday 28 May 2016 from 10am to 4pm.
Mayor of Hobsons Bay Cr Peter Hemphill said it was a great opportunity to safely get rid of unwanted and potentially dangerous items like pesticides, detergents and weed killers.
